Introducing the world's first 3D Printed Cello
Role: Director/Editor
Software Used: Premiere Pro
Genre: Documentary
during my internship at the Ultimate 3D Printing Store in Odessa Florida I worked on many projects including testimonial and product videos, social media assignments and podcasts. by far my favorite venture was Carbon fiber;  we concepted ways to present one of our new products, A cello. I filmed the creator of the cello and interlaced previously recorded performances by Mike Block (famous Cellist) to create an informational and entertaining documentary. I consulted with a video industry professional to come up with the look and feel of the piece, and worked side-by-side with U3DPS for a finalized film.
filming with a multi-camera setup,  made editing much simpler and streamlined my workflow. the creator of the cello was a wonderful speaker and allowed me to set the pace to make the piece interesting. I USED CLOSE-UPS OF The CELLO And the material to give the final product texture.
For this film I utilized supplied audio performances featuring use of the printed cello as a background track. I wanted the audience to feel the quality of sound while hearing about the history of the cello. A lot of B-roll for the cello was shot, but I also wanted to focus on Alfred as his body language allowed the viewer to connect to his passion for music through 3d printing.
